Richard attends FORMON summer school 2021
Each year the FORMON summer school invites PhD. students, MSc. students in their last academic year and postdocs from several countries to address a different topic. The 2021 edition focused on forest monitoring as a tool to assess forest functioning under air pollution and climate change.
Richard from the Forest Ecology group attended this year's summer school, this is how he summarizes his experience:
"The FORMON summer school has both been fun and extremely rewarding. Due to the isolation in the current pandemic, real-life interaction and intellectual discussions are particularly valuable. All the participants and organizers value each other, and the amazing thing is that we are still in touch about various ideas and projects! “
