We welcome Michelle Maier as a new PhD student in the Forest Ecology Group!

Michelle completed her master`s degree in Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) with a specialization in “Plant, soil and ecosystem processes”. She was writing her master thesis about the “Impact of drought on root traits of common grassland species”. Now she starts her PhD in the forest ecology group at the ETH Zurich about the topic of bioclimatic factors and soil water modeling within the SNF project.
